Objective
Launch Ca7riel + Paco Amoroso’s new album ‘Free Spirits’ with a distinctive, culturally resonant first-listen experience to generate hype among global media and influencers while embracing the duo’s creative identity.
Strategy
Hyperactive designed an immersive concept that reflected the artists’ playful “wellness era” narrative, blending humour with a quintessential wellness atmosphere. The activation was timed to maximise excitement around Ca7riel + Paco’s iconic cameo performance with Fred Again at Alexandra Palace, and to ensure global music media had fresh content and a concept enhancing and entertaining experience when hearing the new record in its entirety.
Campaign
In collaboration with the artists and Sony Music, we created the “Free Spirit Centre” concept —a multi-sensory expression of the album itself. A stunning rooftop space was transformed into a spa-like sanctuary with soft furnishings, muted tones, candlelight, and calming scents. Guests eased into the experience with a soothing sound bath and cacao ceremony, setting the tone for the first listen. The full album playback was paired with a guided meditation led by the artists, as guests got comfy in their Free Spirit branded slippers! The result mirrored the album’s tongue-in-cheek yet atmospheric tone—something album collaborator Sting, the OG yogi, would have been spiritually aligned with—bringing the creative vision to life in a deeply immersive way.
